Nearly 90 years ago, our journey began with a humble beginning — our grandfather arrived in Mumbai from his village, carrying vessels on his head and dreams of building a better life for his family.

From a small vessels and grocery shop, our family gradually found its way into the world of gold. What began with a modest collection grew through years of perseverance, learning, craftsmanship and, above all, the trust of the people around us.

Over the generations, this journey continued through R.K. Shanklesha and Kamlesh Jewellers, where the art of jewellery was learned through experience — understanding gold by hand, working closely with artisans and embracing the traditional craftsmanship of the time.

In 1997, Naresh Shanklesha started Pratap Jewellers as a small store, laying the foundation for the brand that continues today. What began modestly grew steadily with the support and trust of generations of customers.

In 2021, Pratap Jewellers moved into a larger showroom, marking a new chapter while carrying forward the same values on which the family built its name.

For us, jewellery has never been only about precious metals and craftsmanship. It is about the trust behind every purchase, the emotions behind every occasion, and the memories that jewellery carries from one generation to another.
